As a Production Engineer, responsibilities include the development of various processes, programming CNC milling and turning centers, tooling and fixture design, routing and bills of material and various other process details as required.  Qualified candidate will work with a team of Production Engineers under the direct guidance of an Engineering Manager.  Typical part configurations range from simple to moderately complex in nature.  As needed, they will identify and implement process improvements and cost reductions on existing processes.

Individual will perform basic set-ups and operate a variety of machines in the Global Machining Center of Excellence. From CNC Lathes, Manual Mill & Lathe Machines, Dunkies Press, and some CMM Equipment.

Working in a team environment of 10 or more people building kits for field services and direct customer needs. Fast paced, high volume packaging of a variety of components. 

- Ability to assemble complex electro/mechanical instrumentation and assemblies using appropriate tooling, fixtures, and equipment.- Ability to read and interpret documentation (procedures, process sheets, drawings, etc).- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies and instruments in preparation for final test and evaluation.- Effective communication skills and ability to work in both an individual and team environment.- Ability to work non-standard/additional hours when necessary based on production demandsThis is a Second Shift Position Mon-Thur 3:00pm - 1:00am
