Waters Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a key contributor of our Light scattering techonology in Santa Barbara, California.  In this role, the individual will sustain the exiting light scattering instruments and drive new product innovation in the development of next generation bioanalytical instruments.  Working in a multi-disciplinary environment where high precision mechanical design intersects with physics, electronics, firmware, software and chemistry, the contributor will be responsible for multiple aspects of mechanical design, analysis and test of subsystems and complete instruments from concept through to production.

Qualified individual will work as part of the Operations Engineering team to maintain test equipment and tooling used to manufacture Waters’ LC products.  Individual will work closely with engineers, assisting them in the building debugging, and documenting of this equipment.
