  • Overview

    Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Americas Field Operations Division. In this role, the individual will be part of a team of financial analysts which provide all accounting, analysis, reporting and budget support for the division. This role will report to the NA Finance Manager.


    • Support the NA Field Sales organization including:
      • Reporting and analysis of results provided business partners and corporate FP&A
      • Weekly distribution of orders, sales and rankings
      • Partner with business partners to develop annual budget and forecast of orders, sales, and trade margin
      • Budget and forecast spending for assigned cost centers
    • Managing incentives for NA Field Sales
      • Accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of incentive plans
      • Maintaining the Access incentive database, which is the basis for incentive plan payouts
      • Calculating and administering the incentive payouts
    • Involvement in the month end close process including:
      • Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries
      • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
      • Monthly analyses of headcount, spending, orders and trade margins
    • Analyze margins on field quotes
    • Managing other special or ad hoc projects


    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    • Minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
    • Advanced skills in computerized application systems, specifically Excel and Access
    • Experience with SAP, BW or Analysis for Office preferred
    • The candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of proactive problem solving and proactive business partnering with supported groups.
    • The candidate must be able to work closely in a team environment and have the communication skills and poise to do so effectively.
    • The position requires organization and self management of a variety projects and deadlines, attention to detail and a commitment to quality output and process improvement.
