  • Overview

    Waters Corporation is currently looking for a passionate and skilled automation engineer with a talent for building comprehensive test frameworks. You will work as part of an Agile team and engage in technical discussions, participate in automation designs, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and present and share ideas through global collaboration.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Write and collaborate on feature files and implement code-behind, providing automation coverage for new and existing features
    • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
    • Assess test quality, coverage, and team’s automation maturity by collecting key metrics
    • collaboratively as part of a cross discipline agile team to deliver software increments for Informatics applications
    • Stay ahead of the curve with respect to new technologies and techniques with an eye towards continual improvement of both the team’s skill set and automation strategy
    • Make technical decisions and collaborate with test strategists to implement a comprehensive automation strategy
    • Drive adoption of continuous integration and delivery methodologies and frameworks

    Qualifications

    • B.S. Computers Science, relevant work experience
    • 5+ years automation experience desired
    • 3+ years C# experience desired
    • Experience with Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development
    • Experience with SpecFlow
    • Experience with Instrument Control preferred but not required
    • Results oriented with the ability to work independently and self-manage
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems
    • Ability to work at least 85% on-site in Milford, MA Waters Corp. HQ
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to mentor others
