  • Overview

    Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Financial Analyst III to support the North American Field Operations Division. The division provides sales, service and technical support to the US, Canada and a South African distributor. As a department, Finance provides all accounting, analysis, reporting and budget support for the division. The position reports directly to the North American Finance Manager.


    • Orders and sales reporting and analysis, including reconciliation of orders, sales and cost of sales between reporting systems and the general ledger.
    • Backlog reconciliation, forecasting, analysis and actions to achieve maximum revenue recognition.
    • Responsible for calculation, analysis and consolidation of quarterly revenue deferrals and forecasts.
    • Accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of spending and incentives for assigned business partner(s).
    • Labor & headcount analysis for assigned business partner(s).
    • Involvement in the month end close including the preparation of monthly journal entries, analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Actively participate in special projects and adhoc reporting requests for business partners and other organizations.
    • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of various consolidated reporting of the division results.


    • Degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience in a publicly traded company.
    • The candidate must have strong analytical capabilities and demonstrated history of proactive problem solving and business partnering.
    • The individual must be able to work closely in a team environment and have the communication skills and poise to do so effectively.
    • Position requires high levels of organization, agility and demonstrated ability to manage a variety of projects and deadlines
    • Thorough knowledge of computerized application systems is required including solid Excel skills and ideally SAP experience.
