  • Overview

    ERA, a Waters Company, is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst at the Golden Colorado location. You will be responsible for International Billing, Credit Management, Collections, and Cash Applications along with various general accounting activities at month end. You will be a key member of a 6 person finance team and have an integral role in enhancing the business decisions made by the company through your attention to detail and accuracy along with the financial expertise you bring to your functions.

    Responsibilities

    International Billing & Collections Operations

    • Manage and maintain the invoice delivery process based on customer and internal requirements.
    • Point of contact for all international invoice billing disputes. Responsible for resolution of disputes and correcting invoicing if required.
    • Minimize risk and potential bad debt exposure through credit analysis, evaluation and setting credit limits for both new and existing customer accounts.
    • Implement appropriate activities to collect accounts receivable balances while maintaining a focus on the customer experience.
    • Contact customers for collection per established credit and collections policy.
    • Monitor and report key business metrics on accounts receivable activities.
    • Process international cash applications from the various methods of payment and reconcile the bank activity on a daily basis.

    General Accounting

    • Record financial activity and reconcile account balances for all assigned accounts at month end.
    • Provide variance analysis and reporting on assigned accounts as needed at month and quarter end.
    • Responsible for headcount reporting, payroll posting and payroll reconciliation for the site.
    • Assist with various ad hoc analytical and reporting projects.
    • Provide support to Finance Team in annual budget process.
    • Document and implement internal control procedures on assigned processes.
    • Other duties for the finance team as requested.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required.
    • Minimum of 2+ years relevant work experience in a similar role.
    • Experience with Great Plains and Seibel is strongly preferred.
    • SAP and Business Warehouse reporting is desired.
    • Strong professional communications skills both verbal and written in this customer facing role.
    • Advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables and other data analysis tools.
    • Thorough understanding of the Order to Cash cycle.
    • Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley controls.
