The Health and Safety Environmental (HSE) Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing a variety of environmental and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees providing optimal environmental protection and preventing injury to employees along with preventing damage to property and equipment. This individual will be a member of a professional group responsible for the efficient and compliant movement of goods into and leaving the US. The Import/Export Administrator interfaces directly with customs brokers as well as international vendors and subsidiaries to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods while complying with Waters policies and applicable government regulations.
This position will be responsible for concurrent quality engineering science activities associated with the consumables and lab automation product development business unit, on-market design change, risk management, quality systems and Waters requirements for columns, kits and chemistry products. Primary responsibility will be to provide chemistry/scientific and product support in the following areas: design controls, risk management, change control, post market review, quality planning, continuous improvement, establishment of appropriate requirements management and traceability.
