  • Overview

    Waters is currently seeking a Systems Integration Technician to join the Production and Manufacturing Operation in Sharpsburg, PA.  In this position you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast paced work environment providing assembly and test knowledge to scientific instruments.


    • Primary duties include electro-mechanical assembly and test functions of systems to assist the department in meeting production schedules and quality goals, while assisting in other duties as directed by the department manager.
    • Provide daily support to the department by assisting in troubleshooting problems associated with systems, instruments, modules, sub-assemblies, processes, tooling, and material.
    • Assist in determining and initiating the corrective action for problems identified in instruments, assemblies, processes, tooling, and material.
    • Ability to perform measurements using standard measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, digital voltmeters, etc).
    • Ability to provide leadership on the production floor. A self-starter with a positive attitude.
    • Provide direction with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Effectively use verbal and written communication skills.


    • High School Graduate; Associates degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline is desired.
    • Experience in chromatography and analytical sciences preferred
    • At least 3+ years experience in electromechanical assembly, system schematics and test environment preferred.
    • Ability to use common office computer software is required.
    • Experience with SAP is a plus.Supervisory /management experience is preferred.
    • Lean manufacturing experience is preferred.
