  • Overview

    This position will be responsible for negotiating sales and service contracts including the administration of our General Services Administration (“GSA”) contract and providing critical support to our field sales organization related to review of non disclosure agreements, formal bid responses, and other general customer correspondence. This position will business partner regularly with our legal, senior management, strategic accounts, risk management departments, finance and sales teams.  


    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Draft, evaluate, propose and negotiate alternative terms taking into account both the needs and expectations of our customers while minimizing our business risk and meeting our corporate objectives.
    • Managing GSA schedules and special requirements of the schedules and maintain GSA contract database including prepare quarterly GSA reporting procedures.
    • Act as a liaison between the field sales organization, the legal department and customers ensuring timely review, approval and turnaround of contracts.
    • Negotiate directly with customer’s contracts/procurement staff ensuring incorporation of input from legal and other respective groups within the company and ensure timely consensus is reached.
    • Work with Finance and order services to ensure adherence to broader requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, compliance with internal controls, etc.
    • Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information, contractual changes, status reports and other documents.


      The successful candidate has the following competencies:

    • BS degree and 5+ years of related experience in contract administration preferably in a sales organization.
    • GSA experience related to GSA contract administration principles, contract negotiations, proposal preparation, practices and standards.
    • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications as the position interacts regularly with customers, cross functional teams and management.
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications, experience with SAP beneficial.
