    Overview

For over 40 years, Waters’ Environmental Resource Associates (ERA) has been a leader in environmental proficiency testing, certified reference materials and calibration standards. Our focus on quality, customer service and industry expertise have earned the trust and loyalty of environmental scientists in thousands of laboratories around the world. Our products, technical and customer support help our customers calibrate analytical instruments, validate detection methods and demonstrate testing competency.

     

    Waters ERA is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of an Account Manager. Responsibilities include driving sales of our full range of products and services including Proficiency Testing Services, Certified Reference Materials, Reagents, and Calibration Materials across analytical laboratories in the Eastern states. This position can be located on the East Coast or Golden, CO.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sales plan to meet or exceed annual sales goals based on assigned territory.
    • Generate and execute plan for the territory, including maintenance and growth of current base.
    • Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts.
    • Visit customers to highlight Waters ERA solutions and demonstrate our software solutions and understand customers’ challenges
    • Build technical competency on product technology, regulatory and analytical background, Waters ERA product offerings and competitive positioning necessary to be perceived by customers as a capable and credible resource
    • Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs
    • Follow up on with customers specific to trouble shooting, opportunities, new products, questions in the region.
    • Represent Waters ERA at conferences by attending or presenting at seminars at requested.
    • Submit accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline updates
    • Develop business through monthly plan of action
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree Required.  Ideally degree in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry highly preferredAt least 3 years’ experience, in field sales, territory management, or marketing
    • Preferred experienced in municipal, food, chemistry, pharma sales or consumable sales
    • Preferred experience with Environmental Testing and other ultrapure water testing methods
