    Overview

    Reporting to the Director of Informatics Product Marketing, this position will be responsible Informatics business strategy, commercialization and sustaining marketing activities for a segment of the Informatics business. Attention to detail, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is critical.  The Product Marketing Manager is a highly visible, global role that must lead through influence with a number of cross-functional teams across the entire Waters Division. A self-directed, highly motivated individual with strong business acumen as well as technical and market knowledge would be ideal for this position.

    Responsibilities

    • Understand and implement the Informatics product strategy and roadmap
    • Develop comprehensive marketing requirements based off voice of the customer and work cross functionally with strategic teams to generate business cases that aid in the justification and prioritization of new products or enhancements.
    • Work closely with marketing communications, market segments, product owners and scientific teams on content generation to fulfill marketing strategy campaigns.
    • Generate personas, value propositions and positioning for key areas of responsibility.
    • Work closely with field marketing, sales management teams and product owners to develop and execute training plans.
    • Maintain competitive intelligence and develop appropriate and timely responses for internal and external audiences.

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum BS in Software, Chemistry, a Technology or Business related field. MBA strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product management, business development, with Informatics experience in pharmaceutical market.
    • Experience with 'Go To Market' product strategies.
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Domestic and international travel of up to 25% is required.
    • Exceptional organization and problem solving skills.
