  • Overview

    As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the solutions business strategy, commercialization and sustaining marketing activities for a segment of the Chemistry Consumables business unit. Attention to detail, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is critical.  Reporting to the Director, Chemistry Group Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager is a highly visible, global role that must lead through influence with a number of cross-functional teams across the entire Waters Division.

     

    A self-directed, highly motivated individual with strong business acumen as well as technical and market knowledge would be ideal for this position. Domestic and international travel of up to 25% is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Understand and Implement the Chemistry Consumable solutions strategy and roadmap in relation to the greater Waters portfolio and strategy.
    • Work closely with market segments, product owners and scientific teams to execute the Chemistry Consumables roadmap and to drive innovation.
    • Work closely with marketing communications, market segments, product owners and scientific teams on content generation to fulfill marketing strategy campaigns.
    • Generate personas, value propositions and positioning for key areas of responsibility.
    • Develop comprehensive marketing requirements based off voice of the customer and work cross functionally with strategic teams to generate business cases that aid in the justification and prioritization of new products or enhancements.
    • Work closely with field marketing, sales management teams and product owners to develop and execute training plans. Prioritize areas of focus by geography.
    • Maintain competitive intelligence and develop appropriate and timely responses for internal and external audiences.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum BS in a Technology or Business related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product management, business development or other customer-facing role in a technology domain.
    • Experience with 'Go To Market' product strategies.
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Exceptional organization and problem solving skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
