Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Material Handler II to join our Taunton, Massachusetts organization.  In this role, the individual is responsible for receiving and inspection of raw materials, picking factory orders and issuing materials, and performing cycle counts.


Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Verify accuracy of incoming raw material shipments

  • Inspect incoming raw material as required

  • Pick raw materials for factory orders

  • Receive and issuing materials in SAP

  • Perform and troubleshoot inventory cycle counts

  • Fork truck operation

  • Follow safety regulations and understand procedures





The successful candidate is likely to have the following competencies:

  • At least 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment, High School graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift, Stockpicker, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, and Step Ladder
  • Knowledge of SAP, or computer generated MRP programs

  • Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction
  • Familiar with warehouse safety procedures
  • Good communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment, and to follow and exchange verbal and written instructions
  • Administration skills including the ability to organize and record data neatly and accurately by paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Able to work overtime on short notice during peak workload periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
