    Overview

    Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Service Plan Support Specialist to join our organization.  In this role, the individual will provide administrative support to our Inside Service Sales, US field Service, Customers and In-House personnel by preparing written quotations in accordance with company and department policies and procedures.  The successful candidate will be able to provide high quality, accurate and timely administrative support to all stakeholders.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide high quality, accurate and detailed information when preparing quotes and processing revenue transactions.
    • Interact daily with field service engineers, field service managers, service sales executives, in-house service sales and customers to provide information and service contract detail verification.
    • Interface with in-house service sales team to provide business transaction updates.
    • Provide regional service plan quotations and contracts which include adding or combining existing contracts into a single renewal.
    • Process service contracts, verify serial numbers and validate customer account information.
    • Maintain and review daily/weekly reports to ensure the Total Assurance Warranty contract details are correct and the billings are accurate.
    • Partner with team members to share knowledge and collaborate on special projects.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum High School Degree 
    • 3+ years experience in a field/sales support or customer service environment.
    • Candidate must be PC literate and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
    • Experience providing service plan quotations and contracts is preferred.
    • Candidate must be proficient in mathematical and analytical skills and be extremely detail oriented.
    • Individual must be an enthusiastic, professional self starter who embraces and quickly adapts to change.
    • Successful candidate is a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, excellent time management, prioritization, problem-solving and organizational skills.
