    Overview

    As a Production Planner you will be responsible for actively managing production schedules and work in progress in support of the overall Manufacturing plan.  You will work with Demand Planning, Purchasing and Manufacturing staff to ensure all schedules are completed on time in a dynamic Manufacturing environment.  This position is located at the Waters Headquarters Facility in Milford, Ma.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Will be responsible for all facets of the management of Production Schedules utilizing SAP / SAP APO.
    • Facilitate Production Meetings with Manufacturing Partners to align on Factory Capacity and utilization based on production plan.
    • Effectively manage products across the entire life cycle from New Product Introduction to End of Life.
    • Monitor and implement Engineering changes at the instrument, assembly and component level.
    • Actively manage inventory levels across all products owned, pro-actively  identifying inventory reduction opportunities
    • Implement and drive Process improvement activities by the use of Lean and structured problem solving.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent field.
    • 2 years of Supply chain experience in a Manufacturing environment.
    • SAP / SAP APO experience with Problem solving and Analytical skills with familiarity with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
    • Strong leadership and communications skills, with the ability to multi task in a fluid environment
    • Prior experience in Life Science/ Medical Device industry preferred.
