Overview

Waters Corporation's Field Services Organization is comprised of highly skilled, motivated and customer focused professionals that are technical experts on Waters’ product suite.  As a Regional Logistics Manager, working for an industry leader, you'll join a global team committed to ensuring Waters’ legendary service for our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software.  In this role, you will work closely with the Field Services Organization to provide administrative support to field engineers and managers, submit quote requests, and maximize field efficiency impacting customers that span across the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Chemical Materials, Clinical, Food, Environmental, Forensics, Academia and Government industries.

 

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and customer focused professional to join our world-leading Field Services Organization in the San Francisco Bay Area.



Responsibilities

 

  • Work with the regional and Regional Service Manager to monitor daily administrative field activities and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and support all aspects of service activity via an internal Customer Interaction Tracking tool and SAP systems
  • Allocate district and regional service resources to cover repair calls, PM calls, installations, escalations, and customer applications assistance
  • Request quotations for service (repairs, PMs, and upgrades), system relocations, and one-time qualifications
  • Maintain internal networks and assist field service engineers to navigate the organization matrix
  • Act as point person for Field Service Engineers for all field service reporting needs including internal systems training and technical support
  • Work with internal Contract and Legal groups to ensure customers requirements regarding special terms and conditions, statement of work, proof of insurance, W-9 are met
  • Utilize SAP to run financial, service metrics, and equipment reports as well as spare parts and documentation research

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, engineering or other science related field
  • 2 years experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for previous Waters product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics)
  • Preference given to individuals with prior SAP and Lotus Notes experience
  • Prior experience with CDS (Empower and/or MassLynx) is helpful
  • Limited overnight travel as required
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing is required
