    Waters Corporation is in the process of transforming our global customer experience. The Java Developer will be an experienced and passionate professional looking to assist in the development of an outstanding experience to customers through websites and digital channels. In this role, the Java Developer will become part of a small development team that is implementing and supporting the corporate website including eCommerce.



    • Software development the Corporate Website and Digital Transformation as well as commerce.
    • The Java Developer will perform technical analysis, design, construction code build, and unit testing of application software changes.
    • The Java Developer will also be responsible for analyzing and resolving application maintenance or production issues as they arise.
    • Works with Business / Functional Analysts to gathers information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input/output requirements to develop technical solutions.
    • Addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
    • Use the DevOps tools: SVN/Git, Maven, Bamboo
    • Assist in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality
    • Provide documentation as needed for varies software stages of the project lifecycle, including development of training materials
    • Adhere to standard controls and best practices
    • This role may have other responsibilities as they arise


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
    • Solid understanding of Ecommerce Developer solutions based on Java and web Technologies; on the SAP Hybris Commerce platform and frameworks or another ecommerce platform (IBM Websphere Commerce / ATG / etc.)
    • Development experience with Java, JEE technologies and Spring Framework specifically IoC , MVC & Spring Integration
    • Development experience with jQuery and JavaScript., HTML, Angular JS, AEM 6.2, Web Services, CSS, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Software Debugging, Test Driven Development, Relational databases and SQL skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written.
    • Committed to ongoing education.
    • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
