Overview

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and highly successful team within Waters/ERA in the Golden facility as a Material Handler II in our Shipping/Receiving Department. You will represent Waters/ERA as the person putting together customer orders and shipping them on time and accurately. You will be the last individual to ensure the quality and integrity of our product and providing the first impression our customers have when they receive their order. You will work with multiple teams/groups to deliver on time products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and Printing Daily and Future orders
  • Picking, Reviewing, Packaging and Shipping of outgoing Customer Orders
  • Inventory Cycle Counts
  • Quality focus on accuracy to comply with error free order fulfillment
  • Working closely with Manufacturing, Customer Service and Sales on shipping requirements and inventory issues
  • Preparing and providing appropriate shipping documentation for our carriers and customers using software and appropriate forms
  • Preparing Dangerous Goods shipments to DG packaging and documentation guidelines
  • Shipping area housekeeping and cleanliness
  • Requisition and storage of shipping materials to maintain stock
  • Packaging and labeling of products for distribution
  • Continuous Improvement

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a warehouse/shipping environment
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift, Pallet Jack, and Hand Truck
  • Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction
  • Familiar with warehouse safety procedures
  • Good communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment, and to follow and exchange verbal and written instructions
  • Administration skills including the ability to organize and record data neatly and accurately by paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Able to work overtime on short notice during peak workload periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds
  • Experience working with various Microsoft programs and basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to stand or be on your feet all day
