Overview

Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to provide repair, maintenance and testing support to our production and facilities equipment.  This position will support our Chemical Manufacturing Processes/Operation.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include;

  • Perform testing and inspections of equipment needed for regulatory compliance
  • Repairing Production and Facilities equipment.
  • Replacing pipe work.
  • Working with chemical processing equipment.
  • Performing the mechanical installation of new equipment or modifications.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting problems.
  • Rebuilding pumps and other process equipment.
  • Performing Preventive Maintenance tasks such as oiling, greasing equipment

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 yrs minimum experience with piping and process equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Previous experience supporting a manufacturing, production, chemical processing equipment nice to have
