Overview

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Global Deployment Planner to join our organization.  The incumbent will be responsible for developing a Global Product Deployment plan for one or more assigned product centers and will be responsible to ensure that all global inventory and service goals are met or exceeded for the assigned products.  This position will work closely with the Global Supply and Demand Planners and parter with our Global Logistics team to ensure the correct balance of finished goods inventory across Waters' global supply network.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop Global Deployment plan to optimize freight costs, product availability and distribution network balance
  • Ensure balance of supply and demand across entire supply network
  • Maintain all relevant master data in APO/ECC
  • Ensure that all revenue requirements are met for the Division
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels across network
  • Collaborate cross functionally at various levels in the organization 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required, MBA preferred
  • 3+ years developing supply/demand/inventory plans for a global manufacturing company
  • SAP/APO Experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of global logistics
  • APICS certification and APO experience is considered a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
