As a key member of the network team, working under the guidance of senior engineers, this individual will provide support of the Avaya LAN/WAN at all local and remote facilities. This support is done on a 24/7 time frame for a global network with over 80 locations and over 5,000 users.


  • Support Avaya routers and ethernet switches (8600/8800 series) and (4000/5000 series) for the remote locations
  • Maintain and install equipment in over 80 Waters locations. This includes troubleshooting ISP issues, Internet access rules and policies, performance and accessibility issues as well as VPN tunnels to other Waters locations. This support may also include vendor contact in support of the following technologies.
    • MPLS configurations, troubleshooting and monitoring in 25 Waters locations. 
    • Aruba Wireless network support and configuration.
    • Riverbed for WAN acceleration.
    • Fatpipe technology for load balancing of dual ISP connections.
    • Netscout probe to help manage bandwidth and troubleshoot.
    • Infoblox DHCP/DNS technology.
  • Support for VOIP as required.
  • Support as a BT resource as required.


  • Minimum 3 years Data Communications experience.
  • Additional IT experience desirable.
  • Bachelors degree desired but not required. 
  • Avaya certificate desired but not required.
