Perform basic material handling functions as assigned, contributing to daily requirements in both an individual and team environment. Leadership responsibility in assigned areas, with ability to assign tasks and support department objectives. Assist in the receipt, movement, storage and control of materials used to produce and support internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.


  • Primary duties include performing material control activities to assure accuracy throughout the entire material flow process - from receiving raw material through shipping completed instruments and supporting materials.
  • Lead and perform ongoing inventory control activities including cycle counting, excess obso identification, and ongoing inventory management and analysis activities.
  • Lead and perform ongoing activities to improve inventory control, processes and documentation across the organization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities for materials management including KanBan, Breadman and electronic replenishment systems.
  • Participate with department support functions in the following areas:
  • Implement methods to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in reviewing and/or updating documentation for related processes.
  • Perform other duties as required.



  • High School education or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2yrs experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with experience related to material and inventory control.
