Waters is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Mass Spectrometry Sales Specialist in the Central District. This territory covers Illionis, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Eastern half of Iowa. The preferred location for an individual to support this territory would be in Chicago, IL.
The ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team with the ability to manage resources efficiently and effectively to be successful. Responsibilities include driving sales of our entire Mass Spectrometry products, including tandem quads, QToF, and IMS systems to various markets (Pharmaceutical, Food & Environmental, Health Science, Chemical industry, and Academia). Ensuring that the sales process is management and driven in a skillful, positive and energetic manner.
This is a field based role that demands direct and frequent engagement with excising customers and potential new customers. Effective business development is integral to the success of this role. Strong analytical and Mass Spectrometry background is required. Proven sales skills are a plus.
