Overview

The Principle Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A will report to the Director of Finance FP&A and will help position Waters for success by providing relevant data and analysis to influence company decision-making and performance across the company’s operations. This role will also help support the financial integration of the recent BD acquisition and will be pivotal in aligning financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for the acquired entity. The ideal candidate will bring deep FP&A expertise, strong business acumen, and some experience in M&A integration to ensure a smooth transition and long-term value creation.  

Responsibilities

  • Support revenue and COGs consolidation efforts across Waters and the acquired entity, ensuring accurate alignment of financial results and driving transparency in performance reporting.

 

  • Support financial analysis and modeling to guide acquisition integration and ongoing business performance.

 

  • Document, streamline, and align financial processes across the acquired entity and Waters’ operations.

 

  • Partner with cross-functional BD teams to ensure accurate forecasting, planning, and reporting.

 

  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions and optimize resource allocation.

 

  • Support the development of long-term financial plans, including AOP, headcount, spend, and capital planning.

 

  • Drive efficiency in onboarding and knowledge transfer by creating clear documentation of key FP&A processes.

 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring financial rigor and transparency in acquisition-related decisions. 

Qualifications

 

Education: BS in Finance,  MBA optional

Experience: 10-15+ years experience, minimum of 7 years FP&A experience

Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic problem-solving to support complex business decisions.  Hands-on experience with M&A integration, preferably within a mid-to-large size organization, with a proven ability to align financial processes during transitions.  Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.  Proficiency in ERP systems and financial planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, BPC, SAC, and Power BI, with the ability to leverage technology for enhanced reporting and forecasting.
