Overview

The Principal Global Benefits Analyst plays a strategic and analytical role in the design, implementation, and management of global employee benefits programs. Reporting to the Director of Global Benefits, this position ensures that benefit offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company’s overall Total Rewards strategy. The analyst partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-impact solutions that support employee well-being and organizational goals across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • US Benefits
    • Oversee day-to-day administration of US benefits plans and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
    • Manage vendor relationships and monitor service performance.
    • Coordinate annual renewals, open enrollment, and employee communications.
  • Strategy & Design
    • Lead the evaluation and development of benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and leave policies.
    • Benchmark benefits offerings against industry standards and regional norms to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
    • Provide strategic recommendations on benefit enhancements and cost optimization.
  • Program Management
    • Oversee the administration of global benefits plans, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
    • Coordinate annual renewals, open enrollment processes, and communication campaigns.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Analyze benefits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and HR partners.
    • Monitor and forecast benefits costs and utilization across regions.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure global benefits programs comply with applicable laws and regulations in each country.
    • Support audits and regulatory filings as needed.
    • Maintain documentation and governance frameworks for benefits policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and regional HR teams.
    • Lead cross-functional projects related to benefits integration, M&A activity, or policy harmonization.
    • Develop and deliver training and communication materials to educate employees on benefits offerings.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s or professional certification (e.g., CEBS, GPHR) preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits, with experience focus on global programs.
  • Experience supporting complex M&A transactions
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and benefit enrollment tools
  • Excellent communication, vendor management, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting benefits in EMEA, APAC, and/or LATAM regions.
  • Prior involvement in M&A benefits integration or global harmonization projects.
