Overview

Waters Corporation is a leading manufacturer of analytical and preparative bulk chromatographic media, chromatographic consumables and liquid chromatography instrumentation.

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector who will conduct inspections of products to validate compliance with design requirements which include drawings and specifications. The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills. It Is essential for the Quality Inspector be able to manage multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of measuring devices and precision measuring instruments
  • Conduct initial inspections, maintain records, First Articles Inspections, and raise notification of non-conformances.
  • Interact within a team environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate and act on inspection and test beyond capabilities.
  • Perform other duties assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in document management within an ISO9001 registered facility.
  • Minimum 3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications primarily, Excel and Word, and Smartsheet preferred.
  • Proficient in Blueprint reading/geometric tolerance interpretation
  • Experience with CMM, ideal, but not required
