As a Performance Maintenance Specialist, working for an industry leader, you'll join a global team of specialists that are crucial to ensure Waters’ legendary service for our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software. 

 

In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, conducting performance maintenance, and performing qualifications on LC instrument across customer sites. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience, and strong time management abilities.

 

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and customer focused individual to join our renown Field Services Organization in the New Jersey area.

Responsibilities

  1. Installation of Instruments: Install new LC systems at customer sites following company guidelines and procedures.
  2. Performance Maintenance: Conduct scheduled Performance Maintenance (PM) visits to ensure LC instruments are operating at optimal conditions. Perform any required repairs during the PM to ensure that the LC instruments are operating as intended following the PM and or qualification.
  3. Qualification Services: Includes Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) as per manufacturer standards.
  4. Basic LC Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures on LC systems to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
  5. Documentation: Complete all required documentation accurately, such as service appointments, service reports, checklists, and customer feedback in a timely manner. Ensure that inventory levels are maintained at an appropriate level.
  6. Compliance: Ensure that all service activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  7. Time Management: Effectively manage time and priorities to meet or exceed customer expectations for service delivery.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training sessions and stay up-to-date with the latest LC technologies.

Qualifications

- Minimum requirement: Currently attending or completed a technical college program related to Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Excellent time management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

- Service experience is considered a plus.
