Overview

The Global Supply Planner will be an integral part of the Global Operations Team, helping to ensure that product is available in the right quantity and timing to support customer demand while meeting inventory targets and desired service levels. They will also maintain finished goods safety stock levels to ensure the business runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the supply plan to meet product demand and inventory targets for multiple product lines and multiple suppliers 
  • Conducts root cause analysis to understand stock outs/backorders
  • Support proactive analysis of various reports to deliver accurate and timely information.
  • Lead efforts to improve product availability and Customer Service levels via balancing supply and demand. Develop alternative solutions to proactively identify and manage excess inventory.
  • Partner with Production Planning/Operation teams to ensure supply requirements are scheduled and met.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field of study preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills & people skills
