Overview

Waters Corporation, the world’s leading specialty measurement company committed to inclusion and diversity, is seeking a Principal Global Enablement Manager to join our team. This hybrid role may be based in either Milford, MA or Wilmslow, UK.

 

In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and global delivery of clinical product training for both internal teams and external customers. You will play a key role in shaping the enablement ecosystem for Waters’ growing IVD product portfolio, ensuring all training is scientifically accurate, user-ready, and compliant with regulatory and quality standards. Partnering across the Clinical Business Unit, you’ll help elevate product knowledge, drive user adoption, and strengthen clinical customer success.

 

The Waters Clinical Business Unit develops Waters Clinical and IVD systems, hardware, and software. This is an exciting opportunity to support a fast-growing organization committed to solving unique clinical challenges and accelerating global impact.

 

Responsibilities

Training & Enablement Leadership

  • Lead the planning, development, and delivery of global clinical product training programs.
  • Build and execute enablement strategies that ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and continual enhancement of training content, ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, product leaders, SMEs, and global business partners to ensure training meets audience needs.

Curriculum Development

  • Collaborate with learning architects and subject matter experts to define training requirements and ensure content is fit‑for‑purpose.
  • Design and develop eLearning modules and structured learning pathways for the Waters Academy – Clinical Learning Management Platform.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness using learner feedback, performance data, and KPI insights.

Training Delivery, Logistics & Administration

  • Plan and coordinate global training logistics, including system readiness, training materials, and scheduling.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions globally, both in‑person and virtually.
  • Manage Waters Academy – Clinical licenses, user administration, and content organization.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training impact and adoption.

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • BS/BSc or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
  • MS/MSc or PhD preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience:

 

  • Demonstrated project management experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering technical product training.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Waters’ products (LC‑MS/MS) or comparable technologies.
  • Previous experience with medical devices or clinical applications preferred.
