We need your talent! Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Clinical LIMS team based in Golden, Colorado.

 

Our team understands the value of their work in the real world. Our market leading Clinical LIMS product, OMNI-Lab, is used in hospitals around the world to support Newborn Screening programs.

 

As a Software Engineer based in Golden, Colorado, you'll be helping us build the functionality that our customers need to ensure the health of newborn babies.

 

We're looking for a passionate Senior Support Programmer with a talent for building and providing customer support for quality software solutions. You will workin a fast-paced, agile environmentand engage in technical discussions, participate in technical designs, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and present and share ideas through global collaboration.

Responsibilities

 

The meaningful work you will be asked to lead: 

  • Review and test software components to ensure quality and performance. 
  • Design, deliver, and support high-quality code. 
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to design, implement, test, and document complex front-end and back-end application solutions. 
  • Efficiently and effectively resolve software issues and defects. 
  • Work with Product Specialists to analyze user/client requirements and derive system-level and software specifications and solutions. 
  • Provide technical expertise in Clinical LIMS products to colleagues across the organization and to customers. 
  • Implement new features or enhancements in existing software systems. 
  • Log issues and provide technical support to end users and clients. 

Qualifications

Abilities that will help you be successful: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years’ experience designing, building, and supporting complex large-scale applications /platform(s) and/or solutions

 

Other Qualifications:

  • Substantial commercial development experience in a relevant programming language (Angular, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Intersystems/cache, SQL)
  • Knowledge of Intersystems Ensemble/IRIS
  • Experience in developing software for the Clinical and Healthcare market·
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Experience in a customer support role
  • Technical experience, allowing you to make progress on your own

The general base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year to $177,000/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
