Overview

The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting HR business partners on projects, programs and reporting in support of the business. This entry-level position is ideal for professionals early in their career who are eager to start their career in Human Resources. The successful candidate will have strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. This role also represents the opportunity to work with business leaders. 

Responsibilities

  • Support business leaders with day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes and timely resolution of employee matters.
  • Generate reports and analyze data using Excel and HR analytics tools to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
  • Track and report on HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of HR programs.
  • Program management for annual HR programs such as talent review, compensation planning, annual engagement surveys and other programs
  • Prepare and deliver presentations using PowerPoint for HR meetings
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
  • Develop and maintain project plans for HR initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement HR projects and programs.
  • Some coordination and administrative work as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
