Overview

ERA, a Waters Company, is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Customer Service Representative to join our Testing Laboratory & Service Business Portfolio Team.  The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer satisfaction and correspondence to support growth across environmental and pharmaceutical markets.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a high volume of customer interactions via phone, email, web chat and other types of correspondence to develop and present solutions to the customer’s inquiries. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound phone calls by satisfying the customer inquiry or routing the call to the appropriate sales or service member for resolution.
  • Respond to a high volume of inbound customer inquiries and order requests via telephone calls, email, web chat and fax correspondence.
  • Demonstrate our commitment to service by following up on calls and ensuring superior results to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately log and update customer information in our CRM tool.
  • Generate and process customer quote and order requests as assigned.
  • Respond to customer requests for Certificates of Analysis and other product documentation. 
  • Display a commitment to quality by following documented procedures and practices.
  • Excel at working as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, action oriented.           


Qualifications

 

  • 1-3+ years customer service experience.
  • Bachelor's degree of Science degree would be preferred.
  • Experience working with environmental laboratories is plus.
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Proficient with contact management software (CRM).
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
