Senior Product Manager- Biopharm Consumables

Waters Corporation is seeking a customer-driven & highly accountable Senior Product Manager, where you will be responsible for the management of several product lines, commercialization of new products and oversight of sustaining marketing activities for the biopharma segment of the Consumables and Lab Automation business unit. Attention to detail, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is critical. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Biopharm Consumables, the Senior Product Manager is a highly visible, global role, where the successful candidate will be leading through influence with a number of cross-functional teams across the entire Waters Division.

A self-directed, highly motivated individual with strong business acumen as well as technical and market knowledge would be ideal for this position. Domestic and international travel of up to 30% is required.

• Understand and contribute to the biopharm consumable solutions strategy and roadmap in relation to the greater Waters Division portfolio and strategy.
• Execute the roadmap specifically for glycan and amino acid analysis solutions plus future applications to drive innovation, launching new products into the market.
• Develop and write content to fulfill marketing campaigns.
• Collection of customer voice that leads to the generation of personas, value propositions and positioning for key areas of responsibility.
• Develop comprehensive marketing requirements based on voice of the customer insights and work cross functionally with strategic teams to generate business cases that aid in the justification and prioritization of new products or enhancements.
• Work closely with field marketing, sales management teams and sales enablement to develop and execute training plans. Prioritize areas of focus by geography.
• Maintain competitive intelligence and develop appropriate and timely responses for internal and external audiences.
• Manage the product lines you are responsible for as the subject matter expert, executing product management tasks in a timely manner such as completing custom made product requests and working closely with global quality and technical support groups.

• Minimum BS in a Science or Business-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a product management, business development or other customer-facing role in a life sciences technology domain.
• Experience with developing 'Go-to-Market' product strategies.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written/oral communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
