Waters Clinical Business Unit provides globally recognized leadership in the area of LIMS systems for Newborn Screening laboratories. This includes implementing and training new client implementations and existing client upgrades.
A Product Specialist is responsible for working directly with customers to understand their laboratory workflow and operational needs, and then to work with the development teams to translate those needs into functional requirements for a Clinical LIMS solution for the customer's laboratory. The Product Specialist is also responsible for Quality Assurance and testing of new features and functions within new versions, preparation and amendment of training and user guides, assistance and domain knowledge to software engineers in the resolution of support logs, and face to face formal training both on-site and by webinar to ensure smooth implementations for clients and minimise issues at go-live. Additionally, this role involves the generation and presentation of documents, videos and other materials at presentations, client demonstrations and conferences.
25% or less travel may be required.
The general base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 year to $120,00 year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
