Overview

The Supply Planner for Global Planning will be an integral part of the global operations team, owning selected supply processes, leading initiatives, and executing on key tasks required for effective supply chain management. They will proactively work to improve KPIs and work with other areas to resolve supply issues as well as develop and maintain business processes to ensure effective and compliant performance. This role will also carry Global goals for inventory, product attainment and service levels. Strong analytical capabilities and communication/presentation skills are necessary as this role will require regular interaction and discussion with senior leadership globally.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Supply Chain planning team as planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects.
  • Drive or support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency for Supply Chain planning group by optimizing system setup, business processes and group reporting.
  • Coordinate with Global planning team for rolling out global planning initiatives.
  • Champion utilization of planning system to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure high customer service level by projecting potential supply shortages.
  • Verify Net Requirements changes with demand planners. Reconcile imbalances between Global Net Requirements and production capacity to ensure product supply.
  • Monitor supply and demand imbalances and communications/escalate
  • Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/PL
  • Create the monthly Supply / Inventory Plans
  • Leading and attending monthly S&OP Supply Review Meetings & Global Service Reviews
  • Partner with the Supply Planning Manager in presenting Supply Plans and Scenarios in the S&OP Supply Review meetings and Global Service Reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field of study preferred.
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain with S&OP experience preferred, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills along with strong analytical, organizational, decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with SAP/APO software required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Power BI desired.
  • This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills & people skills
