Overview

Waters is seeking a bright, results-driven Front-end Web Developer to works in a fast-paced, agile environment with a team of diverse engineers that possess a true passion for technology. This role plays a critical part in the development and implementation of new front-end features for Waters brand new B2B eCommerce site. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development, programming, and coding of complex and business critical Web front-end technology solutions using React, HTML, Java, CSS, Python and Javascript within an agile sprint model
  • Translate business goals into technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web, mobile and Web solutions that meet business needs.
  • Partner with Visual Design, User Experience and development teams to develop front-end features for Waters.com B2B eCommerce site
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies such as REACT, Java, REST, JSON, GIT, HTML5, CSS3/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript etc.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and agile development.

Qualifications

  • Entry level experience coding front-end HTML/CSS that is scalable and cross-browser compatible.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, React, CSS3, jQuery, Python and related technologies.
  • Ability to translate comps and wireframes into flexible and reusable code.
  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments
  • Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem-solving skills and learning attitude.

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology or related experience
