Overview

Waters Corporation seeks a Professional Sales Trainer to join our Global Commercial Enablement team. This role is key in accelerating revenue growth for Waters. Reporting to the Director, Global Learning & Development, this position is responsible for delivering and supporting a dedicated training program to both new hires and experienced sales representatives. As a Sales Trainer this position will work closely with cross-functional / cross-regional colleagues to coordinate training sessions that ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Training will be delivered both in-person and virtually, catering primarily to an outside direct salesforce. Candidates must be comfortable in front of large groups facilitating and presenting in a classroom style setting, as well as online via webinars and videos. 

 

This position will partner/coordinate with local resources across the global regions thus requiring an individual with a respect for the diversity of our commercial teams and their approach to work and our customers. 

Responsibilities

  1. Delivers training facilitation for Waters’ Buyer-Focused Selling programManages / administers each cohort’s training delivery, feedback, and measurement.  Provides post training coaching and reinforcement to participants and their managers. 
  2. Optimizes a centralized sales learning enablement system that delivers relevant content to support specific sales roles and program. Drives & monitors communities of practice and provides daily guidance. 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS   
  • Learning & Performance Certifications/Training desired   
  • Coaching certifications desired 
  • Training Facilitation: 7+ years’ experience – demonstration of facilitation skills will be required. 
  • Commercial:  Global commercial/sales, sales enablement experience 
  • Commercial: Demonstrated use of using data to inform decisions  
  • Technology: Strong working knowledge of salesforce CRM 
  • Creative focus, design thinking 
  • Project Management 
  • Change Management
