As a Mass Spectrometry Applications Chemist in the Waters, Milford, MA demonstration lab, you will get the opportunity to work on a variety of internal and external customer projects. These projects will cover a broad range of applications with a focus on Biomolecule pharmaceutical analysis using Waters mass spectrometry products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in protein and peptide characterization techniques. The desired experience would include but not limited to, intact protein mass analysis; Top down and bottom up protein sequencing, HDX-MS; carbohydrate profiling; post translational modification analysis, and RNA and DNA characterization. The individual will also be responsible for representing the company at scientific meetings and trade shows, often requiring oral presentations of materials with strong scientific content. Approximately 25% overnight travel is required.
