    The Building Maintenance Technician will make a positive impact to our team by performing a multitude of trades skills and maintaining of our facilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Install or repairs a variety of building systems such as HVAC, compressed air systems and plumbing systems. Will install venting, plumbing and wiring required to support the production and/or development process.
    • Performs skilled trades work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures; uses hand and power tools as directed.
    • Makes periodic or special inspections of the premises to determine repair work necessary; performs routine repairs and maintenance to the facility.
    • Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches. Produces rough sketches of projects and assists with the development of cost estimates.
    • Works with outside contractors on facilities and equipment repairs; may assist in the managing of sub-contractors and others who may be working in the facility.
    • Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment
    • Performs routine maintenance on plant equipment such as lubrication, minor repairs, basic installation and running adjustments; maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
    • May maintain and update information on Company’s access and security system.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge normally acquired through completion of vocational trade school or apprenticeship program in building trades or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • In addition to the educational requirements, the candidate must possess 1-3 years of related experience in one or more of the building trades (carpentry, electric, plumbing, HVAC).
